In Memory of Cathy McHorse:
Our VELA community was heartbroken by the sudden passing of Cathy McHorse, a beloved member of our Board of Directors and a lifelong champion for children and families.
At VELA, Cathy brought not only her leadership and expertise, but her whole heart. She believed deeply in our mission and showed up in ways big and small. That was Cathy: a leader, an advocate, and a helper in the truest sense. We are deeply grateful for Cathy’s service, her friendship, and the lasting impact she made on VELA and on families across our community. We miss her dearly and continue to carry her memory with deep gratitude.​
