Cathy McHorse

Cathy is a community advocate, educator and mom of three grown children. She graduated from Duke University and earned her M.Ed. in early childhood special education at UT Austin. Cathy is passionate about equitable access to high quality early childhood programs for all families. Cathy chairs the City of Austin’s Early Childhood Council and serves on the boards of several local and statewide organizations related to children and families. She is passionate about empowering families as advocates not only in programs but also to inform policy changes.
