Angelic Gutierrez

Angie grew up in Puerto Rico in a family full of business owners so she naturally leaned towards completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After getting married she moved to Miami with her husband in search of better employment opportunities. There she found a career in financial aid in colleges, helping students fulfill their goals of post-secondary education. Years later life took Angie to move to Texas where she now lives with her husband, two awesome sons, and a beautiful daughter. Her daughter has many medical diagnoses including Autism. Through VELA Angie found a voice and confidence to advocate for her daughter and is honored to be able to pay it forward by helping parents like herself feel empowered to advocate for their children.
